  View from the bedroom is absolutely deluxe, can't be beat. Saw whales very first morning of stay right when we woke up. All the regular amenities of home are supplied. BBQ'ing at the pool right next to the unit were the best meals we had, hands down! A quick stop at costco after landing to pick up some steaks, lobster tails and king crab...everything else can be grabbed from the stores around you.

  The Villas on the Kapalua trail caught my eye on a previous trip and I had made it a point to look for one this year. I love the quick access to the trailhead and being able to walk in either direction. The views are gorgeous and have relatively close access to two beaches. One is better suited for snorkeling and the other with small waves. The rooms and kitchen were spotless. The laundry inside the unit was a huge plus. I will absolutely be back.

  Building 36 is very convenient to Kapalua Beach and Napili Beach, as well as Oneloa Beach and Fleming Beach. The building overlooks the rocky, wide promontory of the Coastal Trail. The location provides great, sweeping views but we missed the sound of the surf itself. Our unit was very nice and comfortable, and the kitchen was well-stocked to allow us to prepare as much in the unit as we wanted. The only problem we had was that the smoke alarm went off at 5:30 am the morning after our arrival, which was disconcerting. There appears to have been no reason for the alarm to go off, and we called later that morning and someone came and checked it out. Fortunately, the alarm did not go off on its own until again until the 6th morning of our stay! After that incident, the alarm was replaced.

  We arrived with high expectations based on the web site description and pictures. Those expectations were exceeded by our actual stay. This is an beautiful oceanfront villa with exceptional views throughout. It is fully furnished with everything from wifi, to a washer and dryer, beach chairs, a complete kitchen, and even a hair dryer. Previously noted concerns by others regarding the air conditioning and updating the unit must have been resolved, as neither were an issue. There are two beautiful beaches close by, both within an easy 4 to 5 minute walk. We would definitely rent this villa again; and we look forward to our next stay. Coordinating our rental through Aloha Vacation Villas, and in particular Ms Marty Fenyes, was an absolute pleasure; and made our stay that much more pleasant.

  Every morning we would eat breakfast while watching whales breach in the distance. A stones throw from the unit was beautiful tide pools and trails to jog on, all overlooking the ocean. It was waking distance to some great restaurants and several beaches.

  We spent our 10th anniversary on Maui and decided to stay someplace where we ha not been in the past. This place was the perfect choice for us and it had everything a couple could want. The best part of the whole villa were the incredible views of the ocean and Molokai. It has a well appointed kitchen, 2 bathrooms with showers, the upstairs bathroom being quite large and also well appointed. The owner replaced the old sagging mattress 2 days into our stay and it was icing on the cake. There is a nice trail that takes you down to a beach and also to some of the local resorts which we visited pretty much daily. The pools were very nice and relaxing and not too far from the unit. Parking was never an issue, even when we forgot to put our parking pass on the dash. I also like the idea of a coded door so there is no key to lose. If you're a couple looking to rekindle some romance into your lives, I highly recommend you consider this place!

Away from the density of southern Lahaina area, it offered great views, trails, perfect small pool. There are few maintenance issues: mattress is shot (sides are broken down), ceiling in living room is peeling due to water damage, but overall, everything else is fine. Great kitchen and cooking utensils. Fabulous view and access to trail.

  The room was in excellent condition; a wonderfully unobstructed view of the ocean; all amenities were working fine. Important note: make sure to put the parking pass in your window. On the first night, the rain was coming down hard and I didn't put the pass in the window. The parking guard put an obnoxious sticker on the window of my car that took an hour to remove from the glass. Otherwise, the room was excellent and the close proximity to the Montage, made the experience even better. Great food at the Montage and Merriman's. Also, if you have the unit for 7 days, they will change the sheets and the towels midway in your stay. You should request the exact day that they are going to do this.
